The Competition is Fierce a new play by Sebastien Archibald produced by ITSAZOO Productions – directed by Chelsea Haberlin.
Rehearsals begin February 10 and the run is from March 3-22.
Actors must also be available for a workshop September 15-19.
Must be comfortable with partial nudity.
Both Equity and non-Equity actors are welcome to audition.
John-2 – Thirty. Very conventionally attractive. Currently works in a large corporate office but used to be in the non-profit sector. So charming that you can barely tell he’s not all that intelligent. Cunning, conniving and a real people-pleaser.
Claire – late twenties/early 30s. Works in a large corporate office in a job she cares very little about. Sarcastic, witty and kind.
Madeline – Sixties. Has worked her way up to the tip top of the corporate ladder. This has taken blood and sweat but never tears because she would never let herself cry. Tough, driven and ruthless.
Auditions will be held August 25. Actors will be sent short sides in advance to prepare.
