ITSAZOO is ecstatic to announce our new Playwright-in-Residence: The one and only Cheyenne Rouleau. Cheyenne is a Vancouver based playwright, actor and producer. Her break out hit, The After After Party (co-created with Katie Hoffman), was a smash hit at the Vancouver Fringe Festival, won the Georgia Straight’s Critics Choice Award, and was presented as part of The Cultch’s 2017/18 Season.
Cheyenne is currently working on her first full length play, The Sunrise Betties, which ITSAZOO will be developing over the next two years. The Sunrise Betties tells the story of an all-female gang in 1970s East Van who embark on a dangerous heist with deadly consequences.
